Lestat

Lestat was a Goth band based in Cleveland that I was a member of briefly.  The band members were my closest friends and a real support system during the period of my life I hung out at the Nine.  Back then we recorded on 4-track tape, having to "bounce" tracks together to record additional sounds.  Later we progressed to sequencers and DAT tape.  We really pushed the technology that was available.

Lestat for me was the center of a larger sub-community of friends.  We hung out together, looked after each other, and generally had some of the best times of my life.  I still stay in contact with Evan and Pete, I've lost contact mostly with the others.  We had sort of a reunion a few months ago at Evan's house; it was odd to see us all married and talking about our kids...
