Shorty's

I'm hoping I'm getting the name right.  It was the 50s-style diner under the bridge near West 9th.  Lots of fun because of the singing/dancing waitresses.  Also a kid who thought he was Elvis danced along...

I remember the food was so-so but the atmosphere was unique.  It's long-since closed; the space under the bridge forgotten, as is so much of the Flats area nowadays.
